Mr. Sutikierd pumpoung was born on August 17, 1989 in Chiang Mai Thailand. Sutikierd received his Bachelor’s Degree in Faculty of Fine Arts(Thai Art) from Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna in 2012. And Graduated Master's Degree, Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Silpakorn University, Bangkok in 2016. Suttikiet have inspired from social, environment in present, which has changed time to time make him create thai painting contemporary style. Create view of social is changed, The presentation of the human, social, environment and criticized.
SUTTIKIET PUMPOUNGARTIST'S STATEMENT - SUTTIKIET PUMPOUNG Paintings have always been an important historical tool to chronicle human civilizations. Through pictorial content, paintings can relay societal circumstances to later generations. Such as what happened to Thai society in the past decade, when it encountered an internal conflict that led to what could be called ‘a war on intellection’. Originating from political and administrative factions, this situation caused a general atmosphere of mistrust and suspicion. After living through this tribulation, I portray what I personally observed and felt through this experience — creating a record of a living contemporary situation from my point of view.
